A warm welcome to "La Farandole". 

We are delighted to present our little French school "La Farandole", based in Mill End, Herts next to the Aquadrome and look forward to continuing to foster a strong sense of community among francophone families living North West of Greater London, at the junction of Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire.  Mill End is located between Chorleywood, Bucks and Rickmansworth, Herts. 

You will notice that the site is written in French.  Indeed, our school's objective is to encourage the use of French language among bilingual families whose children are schooled in the English system during the week.

 Our little school 

La Farandole is the first Petite Ecole Française (part-time French school) in the North-West of Greater London, just off the M25, junction 17, and meets every saturday morning.

Our objective at La Farandole is to allow French-speaking children to develop their mastery of the French language, and in particular their ability to read and write in French, in a nurturing family environment. It is designed mainly for children who attend a local British school during the week. 

Teachers are qualified French native speakers.


We welcome children from Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire.  Our classes are located on the outskirts of the Chilterns, on the road between Rickmansworth and Denham.  We have students coming from Chorleywood, Gerrards Cross, Amersham, Chalfont St Giles, Northwood, Watford, Berkhamsted and more.

We sometimes can take new pupils half way through the year, subject to availability.  You can find our admission process and a copy of our admission form in the "Inscription" page.
